You can either type your notes in for each player/team, or if you have them in some sort of spreadsheet format you can import them in.

On the 04 version there were little post it note icons that you could move the mouse over and they would give you a pop up box about the team or player. How can we get this same feature for 05?

That note-popup feature is still in the program, but last year I had time to add all the player & team notes from Mike's preseason guide into the default league templates (which took a LOT of time). That's how the notes were pre-loaded last year. Unfortunately there was no time to add that bonus this year.
